Test Automation Engineer

Our test automation engineers and experts are involved in designing, building and establishing a sound test automation approach that enables our customers to apply the principles of continuous delivery. You will typically do this in close collaboration with the development and operations team.

What we expect from you…

• You will work as a test automation engineer on our projects
• Work and cooperate in a team with self-willed developers and infrastructure specialists
• You will guard the product and code quality from start to finish
• Maximum focus on the automation of test cases
• If necessary, you will assist manually with test cases that cannot be automated
• Thinking and living according to the behaviour driven development method
• Helping the business people with acceptance tests
• You are always looking for points of improvement and refleqting about new tools or technologies

Your skills

• You have a technical background, preferably also in possession of a degree in applied computer science.

• Experience or knowledge of the following tools is a plus

  • Java, Python, PHP
  • Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or other CI/CD servers
  • SoapUI, Swagger, Postman
  • Appium, Calaba.sh
  • Selenium, Cypress
  • jMeter, Gattling, Blazemeter

• You master the ideal mix between technical and social skills, or at least almost

• You are analytical and critical, with an eye for detail

• You are not afraid of taking initiative

• You are customer oriented and do not like half work

• Working in a team doesn’t scare you off
